GROMMET DRAPES & CURTAINS
As part of our best-selling custom drapery collection, there are so many reasons to love the Grommet Drape. They are a great solution for blocking light gaps at the ends of shades or for getting total privacy at night where solar or light-filtering shades are in play. Alva only uses solid brass, corrosion resistant grommets. These drapery panels will be a fresh centerpiece to any style room, from contemporary to classic.

Each part of our Grommet Drapes is hand-made using heritage techniques like double-folded hems and finishing buckram. Naturally insulated for optimal comfort throughout the seasons, our Belgian linen is woven from longer, stronger yarns, creating a fabric that’s softer, weightier, and more enduring than any other linen you’ve met.

The Custom Grommet Drapey is completed with your choice of our corrosion-resistant brass grommets in 4 colors: Satin Nickel, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, & Black. They offer incredible finish and a strong durability profile. .

- Bottom hem is 4" and Side hems are 1 1/2"
- Inside grommet diameter is 1 7/16'
- Fullness of 1.8X
- Not recommended for frequent opening and closing where full closure is necessary
- Some drapery panels may be vertically seamed. Any seams will be placed on the side of a grommet so it curves inwards, making it less noticeable.
- To be hung from metal hardware 3/4" to 1-3/8" in diameter.
Considerations
- The panel length reflects the length of the finished product. We recommend that the finished drapery length be ½” off the floor.
- A Satin Nickel grommet is a great “neutral” finish that is complementary to other metallic finishes.
- These panels coordinate beautifully with our Flat Roman Shade collection.
- Consider your view outside when selecting how you’d like your draperies to open. If you want two panels that split in the middle and stack to the sides evenly, choose a split panel when customizing your product. Choose a single panel if you want one panel that stacks all to one side.
